Former Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis’s second son, Samuel, has been plagued with health issues over the last three months.
Stephanie Davis has revealed her newborn son, Samuel, needed immediate medical attention after he suddenly stopped breathing for the second time in a month. The “terrifying” ordeal saw the former Coronation Street actor rushing to hospital once again with the three-month-old child.
The 32-year-old, who shares Samuel with boyfriend Joe McKalroy, took to Instagram to explain she’d gone to a café after attending a baby sensory class when he suddenly fell ill. Two women outside the eatery rang for an ambulance, and the soap actress and her son were taken to hospital again for expert advice.
“We were just having a nice day and then all of a sudden he’s foaming from the mouth with loads of saliva,” the star told her 982,000 Instagram followers, as per The Mirror. “You lose your head as a mum, it’s honestly torture.”
“Poor baby has had two lumber punctures and all sorts done to him to get to the bottom of it all. It’s been a dead upsetting time. I’m trying not to cry again because I’ve just been crying,” she continued.
“On top of that, when he’s in his pram, he doesn’t like the wind in his face. When the wind is in his face, he starts to blow bubbles and hold his breath. It makes me panic.”
