Death In Paradise fans have all shared their joy after show chiefs took to social media to confirm that the green light had been given to commision another series.

After season 14 had wrapped up and the programme had seen high viewership figures yet again, it was widely reported that the show would return with further installments.

However, today, show bosses confirmed that filming is now well underway for the 15th series, sharing a picture of a black and white clapboard with further details.

The social media post clarified that crew and cast were back on set and working hard to produce another series. The post read: “We’re back in paradise. Filming has begun this week in Guadeloupe on the brand-new series of #DeathInParadise.”

Fans flocked beneath the announcement to chime praise, with one person commenting: “Yay!! Last season was so much better than it’s been in a while,” another user said: “Cannot wait to see my fav DI!”
