EXCLUSIVE: David Beckham’s birthday bash was attended by a host of celeb pals, but his eldest son was missing from the celebrations.

David Beckham was reportedly left “heartbroken” when his son Brooklyn did not attend his birthday bash in London on Saturday evening (May 3). The former pro footballer celebrated turning 50 in style with a dinner party at Michelin-star restaurant Core by Clare Smyth. The event was attended by an A-list group of friends, including Tom Cruise, Gary Neville, and Gordon Ramsay.

However, David’s oldest son, Brooklyn, 26, was noticeably absent. According to the Daily Mail, he flew back to the US with his wife Nicola Peltz before the celebrations kicked off on Saturday. Brooklyn’s no show is allegedly nothing to do with his dad, but the result of an ongoing feud with his brother, Romeo.

TMZ previously reported the brothers had fallen out over Brooklyn’s alleged suspicions surrounding Romeo’s current girlfriend, Kim Turnbul.

Insiders close to the family claimed Brooklyn had a short romance with Kim before she got together with Romeo, and the older brother has allegedly questioned what the model’s motives are for dating two brothers in the same family.

Because of this rift, sources say Brooklyn has made it clear he and his wife will not attend any family gatherings where Kim is present. This has applied to events held by both parents, as Brooklyn and Nicola were also absent from Victoria’s fashion show in March.

A source close to the Beckhams spoke to the Express exclusively: “David and Victoria already knew Brooklyn wouldn’t be at the big party in London. Brooklyn had already celebrated his dad at a private smaller family event. Nevertheless both Victoria and David were disappointed that it has gotten to this and they can feel a wedge growing between them. Apparently Victoria has said she doesn’t want this fall out to become like Prince Harry and the royals with their son living in America with his wife while his family stay in the UK.”
