Stacey Solomon regrets ‘airing BBC reality show with Joe Swash’ after sad discovery

Stacey Solomon is reportedly having second thoughts about agreeing to take part in her new BBC reality TV series.

Stacey Solomon and her husband Joe Swash have given fans a rare insight into their family life at Pickle Cottage in a Kardashian-style television series titled Stacey & Joe. The BBC show follows the couple juggling their careers with raising their children Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, and Stacey’s sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships. The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, have given an insight into the ups and downs of married life as well as Joe getting candid about being diagnosed with ADHD.

Fresh reports have since suggested the Loose Women panellist, 33, is regretting putting her life on display following some negative reaction from viewers. Some critics have called Joe a “liability” after an episode saw him leave Stacey in the lurch after returning from a fishing trip five hours late while she attempted to conduct a business meeting at home and deal with her crying kids.Amid the negative reaction, Stacey is reportedly having second thoughts about agreeing to do the show and fears she’s coming across “too bossy”.

“Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold,” a source told The Sun.

The insider claimed the mum-of-five is concerned about how she and Joe are coming across to viewers in their arguments, including her love of organisation which can clash with her husband’s struggles.

“She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown up’. It’s caused friction,” the source said.
